Da Vinci Co. Ltd released an open letter to the media on Wednesday. In the letter, Da Vinci said that they wouldn’t accept return requirements to no-problem products from the customers, and the “day trip” trading patterns is legal which is conducive to Chinese consumers. They said the medias’ reports are “jump to conclusions” or “mislead the public” and other unfair situations.
Da Vinci also explained, “We think any reasonable requirements can consult with us. This is the most convenient way.”
Li Renzheng, a lawyer of Beijing Yingke Law Frim, said Da Vinci’s words are very vague. “Reasonable requirements” can mean anything. Even if the products are quilted, Da Vinci still fraud the consumers. So they should return the products.
Currently, Da Vinci’s attitude and sincerity is still doubtful. The consumers should choose litigation to protect their rights and interests.
