The top leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Kim Jong Il, has wrapped up his unofficial visit to China. The 6 day trip, which began on May 20th, saw Kim hold talks with President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao. He also toured the provinces of Heilongjiang, Jilin and Jiangsu.
At the invitation of President Hu Jintao, the top DPRK leader made his third unofficial visit to China in just a year.
President Hu Jintao says China will work with the DPRK to seek continuous growth in the bilateral friendly and cooperative relationship.
Hu Jintao extended a warm welcome to Kim on behalf of the Communist Party of China, the Chinese government and the Chinese people.
