July 28，Senate of the United States unanimously adopted the nomination of Luo Jiahui to be the ambassador to China. Since then, Luo became the formal American ambassador to China.
The U.S. Embassy in China said Luo and his family will arrive in Beijing soon and the embassy is preparing for it.
Luo said recently that he would learn from Huntsman who can speak Chinese smoothly, and he has been very interested in Weibo which is very popular in China these years.
