Yesterday, Institute of Marxism of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences released “Public Service Blue Book”, which showed that the main basic public services in 38 cities in China. The independent planning had more than 19,000 questionnaires to evaluate the public services in these cities.
In the report, Qingdao ranks first, Beijing following Qingdao.
Overall, the highest evaluation gave by public is “sport and culture”, but the lowest is “social security and employment”.
For example, Beijing’s “culture and sport” satisfaction ranks first, and public safety, housing security, basic education, social security and job satisfaction are more forward position, but public transport, health, urban environment and public service satisfactions did not meet the top 10.
Blue Book recognizes that housing, social security and employment, medical and public health currently are the most concerned three issues for Chinese. Survey of basic public services shows that Chinese public’s overall satisfaction evaluations are low, but still in the affordable range.
