The Latest Democrat Psy-Op Is To Blame Republicans For Inevitable Reductions In Ukrainian Aid

If the ruling Democrat elite and their neoconservative allies were confident that the uniparty would retain control of Congress after the midterms, then they’d presumably do more to openly emphasize the military-industrial pressures that could make the reduction of aid to Ukraine inevitable.

Instead, they seemingly expect to lose and are thus preemptively shaping their own politically self-serving narrative in order to smear their anti-establishment Republican opponents in advance with a view towards playing the Russiagate card a third time during the 2024 presidential elections.

The US’ ruling Democrat elite and their neoconservative allies have joined forces to wage a psychological operation (psy-op) against the American people ahead of the upcoming midterms in an attempt to cushion the blow that voters are expected to deliver to their warmongering “uniparty”.

This information warfare (infowar) campaign is aimed at manipulating them into thinking that the Republicans will voluntarily reduce aid to Ukraine, with it being implied that this wouldn’t be inevitable regardless of the elections’ outcome like is objectively the case but might instead be partially due to so-called “Russian influence” over that opposition party.

In order to understand why this emerging narrative constitutes a psy-op against the American people, it’s important to explain why the reduction of US aid to Ukraine might very well be inevitable no matter which party ends up controlling Congress.

The Washington Post (WaPo), which can’t by any stretch of the imagination be described as so-called “Russian propaganda” and is actually more akin to the mouthpiece of the country’s ruling Democrat elite, reported earlier this month that an unnamed former White House official revealed that Biden allegedly told Zelensky to stop his ungrateful begging.

The basis behind this demand was that it would allegedly make it easier for Congress to approve more aid later.

Although not directly stated, it’s strongly implied that the Democrat leader was also concerned about voters getting upset at Zelensky’s ungrateful attitude and potentially punishing his party at the polls early next month even more than they were already going to do because of it.

In other words, Biden reportedly proposed a quid pro quo similar in spirit to the one that resulted in Trump’s impeachment whereby he threatened to at least temporarily withhold the dispatch of military aid to a close US partner in exchange for the recipient doing him a self-interested domestic political favor.

There might have actually been more to it than just that, however, as Fox News’ experts soon thereafter hinted at.

Their interpretation of Secretary of Defense Austin’s latest press conference in Brussels was that this top military official had inadvertently revealed that the US’ military-industrial complex cannot continue supplying Kiev at the same pace and scale as it’s previously done because it’s already run through most of its stockpiles.

The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) followed up almost immediately afterwards to report that “The war in Ukraine has exposed deficiencies in America’s defense industrial base that could jeopardize the ability to fight a war with China…Washington’s assistance to Ukraine has depleted U.S. stocks of some weapons systems and munitions”.

With these military-industrial factors in mind, it’s very likely that the US will indeed end up reducing its aid to Ukraine no matter which party controls Congress, yet the ruling Democrat elite and their neoconservative allies have decided to preemptively blame this all on the likely election of anti-establishment Republicans.

This psy-op’s infowar narrative took the form of Yahoo Newsridiculously alleging that Russia deliberately provoked an economic crisis in the US throughout the course of its special operation in Ukraine in order to manipulate the electoral environment in the Republicans’ favor.

Axios then produced a report misleadingly making it seem like the Republicans would voluntarily reduce such aid for politically self-interested reasons without making any reference to their Mainstream Media (MSM) peers’ prior reporting about the military-industrial pressures that would likely make this outcome inevitable in any case.

Other infowar products have contributed to the artificially manufactured perception that the Republicans are “treasonously” sacrificing the US’ national security interests due to a combination of political and perhaps even conspiratorial reasons, the first with respect to simply spiting Biden and the second in terms of recently revived Russiagate innuendo.

This desperate psy-op also serves to distract from the possibility that Biden just did the same thing that got Trump impeached.

After all, it was none other than WaPo – which is widely regarded as the ruling Democrat elite’s mouthpiece – that was the first to report that the incumbent President tacitly proposed a quid pro quo to his Ukrainian counterpart in a similar spirit as the one that his predecessor did.

The observation that one of the party’s top propaganda outlets was the one to introduce this speculation into the information ecosystem suggests that there might be some factional strife within their ranks.

That scenario was already previously reported amidst rumors that some figures are pushing for Biden to not run for re-election in 2024 out of concern that he’d doom the Democrats to an inevitable landslide defeat.

With all this in mind, some influential party leaders might be plotting to have a fellow member like Gavin Newsom for instance lead the inquisition against Biden in order to win support among some Republicans, which could also serve to counteract those of their party rivals who still remain behind Biden and would have in that scenario refused to order him to pull out of the 2024 race.

Moreover, by simultaneously pushing a remix of the Russiagate theory to falsely allege that their anti-establishment Republican opponents voluntarily reduced aid to Ukraine due to Moscow’s supposed influence, this faction’s “black horse” candidate could also boost their appeal among the Democrat base.

To be clear, the abovementioned scenario might never unfold, but it remains credible for the time being for the reasons that were explained with respect to WaPo of all outlets being the one to introduce speculation about Biden doing the exact same thing with Zelensky that ultimately got Trump impeached.

In any case, the immediate psy-op being waged on the American people for now concerns the ruling Democrat elite and their neoconservative allies’ attempts to revive their discredited Russiagate conspiracy theory ahead of their expected loss of Congress to anti-establishment Republicans in less than three weeks’ time.

Voters should obviously keep all this in mind as they head to the polls.
